About the Services -

Ceredigion Mental Health Service (2x 37 hours available) –

Based at the Camfan Service, Lampeter, Ceredigion. The Manager, Floating Support Workers & Scheme Support Officers specifically supports those who are experiencing mental health conditions & supports individuals in their homes or temporary accommodation across Ceredigion. The team aims to prevent homelessness in Ceredigion, by providing support to individuals to manage debt, promote health and wellbeing, and empower them to make positive choices. Developing the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability and maintain their homes within the community. 

Who we’re looking for – Knowledge/experience of supporting individuals suffering with mental health, homelessness issues.

Connecting People Service (1x 23 hours available) –

Based at the Camfan Service, Lampeter, Ceredigion. The Manager & Floating Support Workers provide a passion for supporting individuals experiencing challenging times. You will provide community support to individuals (18+) who have mild learning disabilities. The support provided  can be around housing challenges, mental health issues, substance misuse, and other complex needs. With assisting with sustaining & securing suitable accommodation, it is rewarding when you are part of an individual’s development and growth.

Who we’re looking for – Knowledge/experience of supporting individuals with mild learning disabilities.

Dyfed Powys Diversionary Scheme (1x 27 hours available) –

Based within our Diversionary Scheme, Powys, the multi-agency service seeks to address offending behaviour across four hubs. The team consists of the Service Manager & Floating Support Workers, working closely with the Police and Housing. Working in a team as part of a culture-changing initiative, you will support various clients. All with the aim to support them into independent living and to reduce the likelihood of re-offending, by helping tackle the root causation of offending, and associated health & community related issues. We will require a Non Police Personnel Vetting (NPPV) check for this role, which we will pay for.

Who we’re looking for – Knowledge/experience of working with the Police and Housing.

Skills and Experience Needed

For all roles, relevant work experience and knowledge of issues relating to vulnerable people is essential. With a good understanding of housing related support & welfare benefits. Alongside the following; 

  • A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
  • An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
  • A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player
  • Ability to deal with conflicting and difficult situations

Key Details –

All roles are permanent contracts.

The working pattern for these roles are predominantly Monday – Friday office hours, although flexibility is required for the service needs.

It is essential to hold a valid UK Driving Licence and have access to a vehicle.

  • £25,877.80 FTE – As of 1st April 2026
