What is great about the role?
- Be part of a key project: Help coordinate and administer a large number of fire door appointments.
- Varied and impactful work: Every day is different – liaise with contractors, internal teams, and customers.
- Develop your skills: Build project management, organisational, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Support the team: Assist with meetings, telephony, and other admin tasks to keep the project on track.
- Data management: Keep property and project information accurate and up to date.
Where does this role fit in?
You will work closely with the Asset Management team to ensure the fire door appointment project runs smoothly and deadlines are met. Your contribution is vital to the success of the Property Safety programme.
What skills and experience do you need?
- Experience in administrative or business support roles
- Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
- Excellent organisation, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure
- Confident in liaising with internal teams, contractors, and customers
- Solutions-focused, with a can-do attitude
What are the pay and benefits?
Time off and Flexibility
- Working days are predominately Monday to Friday days or you can work compressed hours on a 9 day fortnight.
- Flexible Working Policy: This is a hybrid role. Our head offices are in Newport, Cardiff, and Swansea, with team meet-ups typically held at one of these offices usually once a week, which you’ll be expected to attend.
- 26 days holiday, plus Bank holidays. Rising to 31 days with an extra day for each full year of service
- Maternity & Adoption Leave: 20 weeks
- Paternity Leave: 3 weeks
Money and Pensions
- The salary is £25,034 for a 37 hour, full time, fixed term position.
- Pension Choices: Defined Contribution (DC) Scheme with matched contributions up to 10%. Or, Defined Benefit (DB) 1/80th of final salary for every year of service.
- The successful candidate will need a basic DBS check in place, which we pay for.
