What is great about the role?
This is an opportunity to have a key administrative role to play as part of the transaction team within Cashbook. You will be working closely with colleagues across the business. You will have varied tasks, and no two days will be the same your role will include; Posting of journals to ledgers. Dealing with cash, cheque and automated bank transfers (BACS etc) for the Group. Daily Bank Reconciliations. Liaising and maintain relationships with group members. Providing information for the management accounts and reporting for statutory accounts at year end including accruals and prepayments.

Where does this role fit in?
The Finance Team sits within our Finance and Governance function and is led by the Finance Director. In this role, you will report directly to the Finance Officer - Cash & Accounts Receivable and be a key member of the financial transactions and systems team.
. What skills and experience do you need?
- You’ll have a love for working with numbers and excellent numeracy skills
- An ability to use a methodical approach to handling data from various sources
- Experience of working with computerised accounting and on line banking systems
- The ability to work on different software packages to enable verification of data received
- Knowledge and experience of working with Excel
- The desire to build positive relationships with people and to deliver a service in line with our values
This is a part time post for 15 hours per week to be worked on Thursday and Friday.

- The salary for this role is £25,273 (pro rata 37) 15 hour, Part time, fixed term position.
- Hybrid working – a mix of home working and office time. Our main offices are in Cardiff, Newport, and Swansea.
